    Dr. Rebecca Burns

“I want you to be this excited about your pelvis. No really…”

Dr. B completed her chiropractic education at Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College in 2020. She decided hands-on patient care was in her future while researching the “illness narratives” of persons with chronic illness for her Master’s degree in Anthropology of Health. She brings her passion for sharing through storytelling to her everyday work as a chiropractor.

Dr. B is especially passionate about treating the pelvis in all stages of life. She ensures that her pregnant and postpartum patients achieve their goals in the safest, most effective ways possible.

Dr. B also loves working with the infants and youth of her community. Welcoming a little one of her own in 2023, she gained a newfound appreciation for the milestones little bodies meet in their first months and years.

  • Colleen Lowe Bruce Village

    Colleen Lowe

    Registered Psychotherapist (she / her)

As a mom of two young daughters and two teenage step-kids, I’m no stranger to the joys and challenges of blended families, parenting, relationships and life transitions.

My own life experiences have shaped who I am today and have given me empathy and insight that I believe help me to help others. I’ve seen first-hand how important counselling and therapy can be in helping people to cope with difficult circumstances, ultimately enabling them to return to a productive and satisfying life.

Each client is unique, which means there is no one-size-fits-all ‘solution’. I take an integrative approach to treatment and practice in an inclusive, client-centered way that places an emphasis on client’s strengths and life experiences. It’s important to me that I create a safe, non-judgmental, calm space for clients to share their stories and for us to develop a trusting therapeutic relationship, since the relationship between client and therapist has shown to be one of the greatest predictors of successful therapy outcomes. I work with teens, adults and couples.

I have an MA in Counselling Psychology and am a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I am also a member of the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA) and the Ontario Society of Registered Psychotherapists (OSRP).
