What are your working hours?

Working hours depend on the practitioner you are seeing. While all practitioners are able to set their own schedules, their working hours may be different from our receptionists working hours. Emma works from Monday to Thursday 8:30am - 5:00pm, and Fridays 8:30am - 2:30pm. Our practitioner hours are always up to date on Jane: brucevillage.janeapp.ca.

What is your cancellation policy?

At Bruce Village, we value your time and strive to provide you with the highest quality care and attention during your appointments. To ensure fairness and efficiency, we kindly ask for at least 24 hours' notice if you need to cancel or reschedule. For clarification, 24 solid hours are required, those who provide 23.5 hours notice will be charged for a late cancellation. The fee for a late cancellation is equal to the full amount of the missed / late cancelled appointment.

When you book an appointment, our practitioners reserve that time exclusively for you. Late cancellations or missed appointments make it difficult for us to accommodate other clients who may need care.

No shows: The Therapist/Counsellor will wait 15 minutes for the patient/client to attend a session. If the patient/client has not arrived it shall be considered a no show and the full session fee is charged.

Psychotherapy/Counselling: The Therapist/Counsellor reserves the right to close files for clients who have not attended therapy for a period of three months.

Please Note: We understand that road closures, weather related safety issues, and extenuating circumstances can occur. Your safety is always our priority. Please let us know as soon as you do if this applies to you!

Why do I need to put a card on file?

To streamline our scheduling process, we now require a card on file when booking appointments. Unless otherwise authorized, your card will only be charged in the event of a late cancellation or no-show in accordance with our policy.

Where do I park?

We are located at 447 Goderich Street. There are two driveway entrances for our business, where you will find 7 parking spaces located at the back of the building
